The Conservative Political Action Conference has been going on in DC this week. CPAC brings the crazy to the Adams-Morgan environs, for real. I went last year. No one gave me a fetus doll, sadly, but they definitely looked askance. There were lots of close-talkers. They all wanted to talk about the flat/fair/crazy-people tax. CPAC sucks so bad McCain skipped it last year, because the people that pay to attend this shit are so. fucking. crazy. conservative. These are the people that salivate over M’Ann Coulter. But dude had to show the fuck up this year and pretend like he gives a shit so that if, by chance, Obama gets the nod he can still turn out the Hillary-haters. So he showed. They applauded and (those that hadn’t heard The Mitt was Out) booed. Please, Krazy Konservatives, stay home in November, they rest of us are cool with that. Also, the Omni Shoreham sucks.
