Spreading the Blame

Why should I care? There's no chance I'll ever get a nightstick shoved up MY ass.Uncle Nino has written a book.  Just like his fellow conservative profiteers, I’m sure he’ll send the proceeds to help all those Iraqi families whose lives he destroyed with his vote in Bush v. Gore.  Of course, Scalia has long fucked up the lives of people worldwide because he’s been around since the days of Saint Ronnie.  And since our tax dollars will keep him healthy well past his sell-by date, he’ll be busily eliminating our rights for decades to come.

Scalia is easy to hate - he’s a bitter little man devoted to screwing those he deems lesser, and that’s pretty much everyone.  But there’s another bad actor in this conservative kabuki that never seems to get blamed for anything.  More after the jump.

Who said Saint Ronnie had nothing to do with the current clusterfuck ...Sandra Day O’Connor.  She was lauded as the “swing vote” on the Supreme Court - a moderating force that kept wingnuts like Scalia and Thomas at bay.  The truth is rather more grim. We must never forget that Sandy’s vote installed George W. Bush in the White House and led to all the death, debt, destruction, and lawlessness we’re faced with today.  This “swing voter” is more to blame than any of the other fuckwits that annointed the Boy King.

Before you rise to defend her, remember that, as demonstrated here, any sentient being with even a modest knowledge of Bush’s history would have concluded that he was a sociopath who shouldn’t be given access to anything sharp, much less the armed forces.  Yet when it counted, Sandy-baby chose party over the rest of us, and now we’ll be paying for her treasonous decision for decades.  Thanks to this patriot we’ve caused millions of deaths, wasted trillions of dollars, and gained an Orwellian security state bent on knowing our every secret.  Fuck you Sandy-baby.  Fuck you.
