Hey military families! Did your husband/son/father/brother or wife/daughter/mother/sister get themselves unnecessarily sent over to Iraq for an immoral, flawed, and un-fucking-believably criminal war? I hope they made it back okay, alive and in one piece and with all of their wits about them. But just in case you can’t say that about your loved one, our stupid fucking president George W. Bush wants you to know that he has made sacrifices too. He gave up golf!

“I didn’t want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander in chief playing golf,” he said. “I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.”

Yes, Fuckwad #1 gave up the ’sport’ of his fellow rich, entitled white fuckwads so as to avoid any uncomfortable PR. I guess clearing brush and taking a record amount of vacation time are still okay. Just in case you feel like his sacrifice is too much, don’t worry. He won’t be president much longer, so he will be back on the links in no time. Baby bumps out of golf tees for everyone!

Oh yeah, and this:

This was the attack that the US soldiers guarding the base were so ill-equipped for, the only thing they could take into the rubble to assist dying UN Envoy to Iraq Sergio Vieira de Mello was a curtain for a stretcher and a women’s straw handbag tied to the end of a rope to remove rubble.
