The Department of Justice is investigating the award of a $1.2 million Department of Jesus grant that would have produced hundreds of thousands in fees for a tiny consulting firm headed up by Lisa Trevino Cummins [left], BushCo capo and the lady who used to pretend to give a shit about Hispanic people for the Department of Jesus.

Shockingly, the Department of Jesus in its short lifespan has been turned into a revolving door whorehouse that is even nastier and faster than Pentagon. The Jesus crazies are appointed, make a few friends, leave, form companies and then cash in on millions in contracts doing stuff ah, for, ah Jesus and shit.

Bush White House Pushed Grant for Former Staffer

Lisa Trevino Cummins is currently the target of a DOJ investigation that involves her company, Urban Strategies, LLC and Victory Outreach, a California evangelical group, according to ABC News and legendary reporter, Murray Waas.

Waas and ABC News report that DOJ staffers had some misgivings about awarding the grant to Cummins’ outfit and Victory Outreach. In the end, White House appointees interceded to make sure that the president’s people got their money.

Cummins single most important qualification is that she was a White House capo, previously heading the Hispanic outreach efforts for the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. Like all organized crime operations, BushCo takes care of its own. Of that $1.2 million, Cummins little outfit would have bagged fully a third, although ABC doesn’t say whether than was in ‘overhead’ administrative fees or, hehehe, in actual, hohoho, work.

What say you, Cynics? Since they’re all of Jesus and so fucking righteous, don’t they deserve a special Jesus type punishment? Like crucifiction on the White House lawn?
