Presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is running around promising theocratic hooligans that he’ll not only continue to throw money at corrupt horrors like the Office of Faith Based Initiatives but expand the Jesus-crazy nonsense in ways that will only accelerate the descent of the United States into a dark-ages dystopia ruled by superstition, fear and hate.

The stupid fucking guy showed up in Zanesville, Ohio today and gave a speech promising to build a larger complex of Jesus programs than Caligutard’s that will be tended to by larger numbers of Jesus crazies in the Federal government - at a time when any serious candidate with a commitment to a secular government would be addressing the terror of Jesusfied federal civil and military administrations.

It was too naive to be explained by Obama’s youth and hopefully it was diabolical in ways that evade us. Read this speech. Senator Unicorn raved about his commitment to Jesus (as if the theocratic right could give a rat’s ass), apparently with the belief that the theocratic right in the states considers him something other than a Satanic figure of monstrous intent. He will learn soon enough that no amount of bribery will satisfy these freaks until they are living in a theocracy that would make Iran look like South Beach.

In the meantime, the Jesus-crazy fifth column installed by the Republican crime nexus in the federal civil administration will only leverage existing and any new funding to promote Republican causes, support GOP candidates and cause mischief for Democrats, both those elected and standing for office.  The Department of Justice’s preferential hiring of Regency University (Pat Robertson’s cult college) Jesomatons is only the tip of the iceberg. In the last 8 years, the RoveCo has made hiring Jesomatons a keystone of the Permanent Republican Majority strategy which includes making the federal government a component of the permanent campaign strategy.

Ain’t no time to be feeding that monster. In fact, he should be hunting it down and killing it before it consumes America. Obama has to understand that at some level the reason America is churched is because there is no state religion and no preferential treatement of any religion or the religious. No matter what short-term gain the Unicorn thinks he’ll grab in the general election by pandering to the Jesus crazies, in the long term, he’s only aiding America’s enemies in pastoral garb.
