Obama Tells the Blacks that They Ain’t Ever Gonna Amount to Nothing
Obama gave a speech in Georgia today, where he essentially told all the young black men that they weren’t going to be basketball players or Lil’ Wayne, because he can beat them at basketball and rap better than them, even though he is only a Halfrican American.
‘You are probably not that good a rapper. Maybe you are the next Lil’ Wayne, but probably not, in which case you need to stay in school,’ Obama, D-Ill., told a cheering crowd, brought to a standing ovation at a town hall meeting in Powder Springs, Georgia.
I’m guessing they cheered because, hey, maybe they are the next Lil’ Wayne! Obama then quelled their joy by making sure they know that they are bad at the other thing stereotypical black people are supposed to be good at:
‘most of you brothas are not [really good at basketball]‘, Obama, who played basketball in high school, a sport he continues to play to this day, said jokingly. ‘I know you think you are, but you’re not. You are over-rated in your own mind. You will not play in the NBA.’
He then offered to rap battle them and play a game of pick-up. After he won both of those, he told them they would also never be President, or even Senator. And that maybe “Hope” wasn’t really too great as a concept after all. Then, Bill Cosby applauded.
