Jonah Goldberg points out that McCain may be computer illiterate because he contracted carpal tunnel syndrome from trying to pull out of so many war hero jet fighter crashes:

Does anyone know why McCain doesn’t use a computer or email? As a couple readers suggested to me, it might be because his injuries prevent it. I mean he can’t lift his arms much higher than his chest and it looks like he has all sorts of other mobility problems with them. Maybe he can’t type or use something like a blackberry. I don’t know. But I hope the Obama campaign found out before they played the granpa Simpson card on McCain. I’d hate for Obama to be mocking a veteran’s disability to score cheap points.

Terrified of the prospect of an Obama Administration, the RNC and its collaborators are hard at work organizing disinformation campaigns, crusades of hate and paramilitary resistance groups to throw America into total chaos and, ideally from their point of view, armed civil war mobilizing Jesus-crazed, mouth-breathing psychopaths who are being taught their lives, their gods and their alleged culture are threatened by anything less than the full-blown medieval theocracy the GOP has been promising them since 1980.

The former Republican capo for Clark County, Indiana is awaiting sentencing following his admission of an oral sex attack on a young man, the second such lurid assault he’s been accused of in a decade, according to media reports, though as with all things GOP, there’s no limit to the wanton criminality these monsters can animate and no certainty that all the victims have been counted.

I have been trying to post on Alan Keyes for like, what, a fucking week? Wordpress and others (and you know who you are!) have conspired against me. But finally, I can tell you that, yes, Alan Keyes is still bringing teh crazy.

Last week the Constitution Party decided that even for them, Herr Dr. Keyes was too nutty:

The pick [of radio talk-show host Chuck Baldwin] was seen as something of an upset, given Keyes’ higher national profile. Known for his fiery stem-winders, Keyes is a two-time GOP presidential candidate who abandoned the Republican Party this month to join the Constitution Party, which believes in limited government and is committed to ending abortion and bringing American troops home from Iraq.

But Baldwin’s roots in the Constitution Party run deeper. He was the party’s 2004 vice-presidential candidate, and party members said his stands were more in line with party thinking.

But did this stop Alan Keyes from running? Not in the least - he’s got a new campaign website and even a MySpace page. He’s the Hillary Clinton of wingnuts. And he’ll doubtless suck a few votes away from the Psychogeezer™. He won’t have as much of an effect as Bob Barr or Ron Paul, but it’s all good. Run Alan run!
